We are invited to use our faith in all that we do. Here is the definition that the word of God gives us of faith: “Now faith is the firm assurance of things hoped for, a demonstration of things not seen”. (Hebrews 11:1).
It is because a brother has faith in a project that he will embark on. Since no one around him has received the same faith for this project, the brother may be discouraged by the people around him. Therefore, he does not allow himself to be intimidated by circumstances, demons, etc. He uses his faith.
The word of God declares, “And my righteous shall live by faith; but if he withdraws, my soul takes no delight in him” (Hebrews 10:38). Faith must guide all of our decisions, even in the decisions of our daily life such as shopping, clothing, etc. Many things are motivated by fear and it is the spirit of evil that triggers fear. Instead, the Spirit of God gives us assurance.
– Let us pray to the Lord, and ask for forgiveness for all the times that we have not walked by faith, in the name of Jesus Christ.
It was through faith that the patriarchs performed exploits on behalf of the Lord. “And the Lord said, If ye had faith like a mustard seed, ye would say unto this sycamore, Uproot thyself, and plant thyself in the sea; and he would obey you” (Luke 17:6).
“Therefore I say to you: Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and you will see it come to pass” (Mark 11:24). So we have to use that assurance, that faith to pray. Sometimes we pray because we are afraid.
“So far you have not asked anything on my behalf. Ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be perfect” (John 16:24).
The Lord wants us to bear the glory He bears. Let us use our faith when we act daily. When we have the conviction that God hears us, our prayers become simple and we do not multiply words.
Jesus prayed with faith, as at the raising of Lazarus: “41So they took away the stone. And Jesus looked up and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42As for me, I knew that you always answer me; but I spoke because of the crowd around me, so that they would believe that you sent me. 43Having said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come out!” (John 11:41-43).
People who have used the conviction that God puts in their hearts have always been successful.
– Let us pray to the Lord, that He will grant us the grace to always use our faith, to live by faith, to walk by faith, to use the conviction that He puts in our hearts, in the name of Jesus Christ.
There are children of God who do not use their faith. It is a matter of belief.
Each time the enemy speaks to us it is to sow doubt in us and destabilize our faith while the word of God comes to strengthen our faith. Thus the Lord had spoken to Adam: “16The LORD God commanded the man, ‘You may eat of all the trees in the garden; 17but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for the day you eat of it you will die'” (Genesis 2:16-17).
However, the enemy came to sow doubt: “… Did God really say: You shall not eat of all the trees in the garden?” (Genesis 3:1B).
What the enemy is constantly trying to do is attack our faith, fill us with doubt to keep us from doing exploits to the glory of our Lord.
Every time we have a promotion in our life, it brings glory to God around us. For this, Satan pushes many children of God into doubt.
– Let us pray to the Lord and command Satan to attack our faith no more, in the name of Jesus Christ
There is often a gap between theory and realization. People make plans that don’t come to fruition because the enemy robs them of the conviction of succeeding. On the other hand, those who remain in their conviction will come to realize all the good things that God has planned. Lamentations will be useless. Let us rise with conviction and move towards the plans that God has formed for us.
– Let us pray to the Lord, so that the projects that the enemy has pushed us to abandon will come out of the closets and be carried out for the glory of God, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The power of God is upon us and God puts in our hearts the faith to accomplish the exploits. Let’s stop wallowing in our actions and stand up in faith.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with all! (Revelation 20:21).
