Job Description

*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Escrow Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the escrow process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing exceptional service to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of loan origination, contract management, and escrow procedures, along with excellent communication skills.

*Responsibilities*

* Manage the escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring all documents are accurately prepared and executed.
* Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Review and analyze loan documents, contracts, and closing statements for accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other legal requirements throughout the escrow process.
* Maintain detailed records of transactions and communicate updates to all parties involved.
* Perform basic math calculations related to closing costs and disbursements.
* Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry and document preparation efficiently.
* Assist in underwriting processes as needed to support loan approvals.

*Experience*

* Previous experience as an Escrow Officer or in a similar role within the banking or real estate industry is preferred.
* Familiarity with loan processing procedures and FNMA guidelines is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of contracts related to real estate transactions.
* Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
* Proficient in using escrow software and other relevant technology tools.

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
