Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Assistant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain electronic vendor files in a paperless environment.
• Match, process, and post daily invoices through QuickBooks for multiple offices and companies.
• Reconcile credit card statements and verify all invoices are received for vendor payments.
• Prepare Excel batch transactions for import into QuickBooks.
• Review employee expense reports and track receipts for accuracy and completeness.

• 3+ years of experience using desktop QuickBooks, especially in Accounts Payable.
• Show strong Excel skills, including the use of V-lookups and batch transaction entry.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal staff.
• Manage multiple tasks independently and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
• Use Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and Word, effectively.

• Prior experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.
• Possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
