Certification Details

• BLS
• ASATT (American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians) certification (required within 5 years)

Job Details

• Under general direction, provides assistance to the anesthesiologists and CRNAs during the pre, intra, and post-operative care of the patient receiving anesthesia.
• Provides supplies and equipment for the delivery of anesthesia in all anesthetizing areas and provides cleaning/replacement of supplies and equipment in between operative cases.
• Provides supplies and equipment to each anesthetizing location in proper working order.
• Planning and coordinating organizational change.
• Anticipating and addressing customer needs.
• Educating employees, customers and transferring knowledge.
• Functioning as an effective contingent member.
• Acquiring and applying superior skills to achieve quality outcomes.
• Functioning as an effective team member.

Job Requirements

• Ability to effectively interact with customers to understand their needs and explain data.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via telephone with members, employer groups, brokers, physicians, and physician office staff using strong dialogue and customer service competencies.
• Written communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• One to two years experience preferred in one of the following areas: Recovery Room, ICU, Emergency Room, Operating Room, Med/Surg, Pharmacy or Bio-Med setting.

Schedule Information

• Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Additional Details

• Microsoft Office skills.
• EMR: EPIC experience preferred but not required; will train on-site.
