What You'll Do: Lead field surveys including control, boundary, topography, and laser scanning. Collect high-quality data using advanced equipment and ensure regulatory compliance. Produce clear field notes and maintain organized records. Perform equipment checks and calibrations to ensure accuracy. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Represent Jacobs with professionalism and integrity in the field. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend process improvements.
Requirements: 2+ years of experience as an Instrument Operator, Party Chief, or Survey Technician. Proven ability to complete all aspects of field surveying tasks. Experience in topographic design surveys, laser scanning, UAV photogrammetry, subsurface utilities, boundary and/or ROW. Ability to travel up to 50% and work in outdoor environments. High school diploma or GED. Ability to pass MRV, drug, and background checks.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Trimble equipment and software. FAA Part 107 pilot's certificate. CST, LSI, or PLS certification.
