Position Overview
A full-time Imaging Manager opportunity is available in a progressive healthcare setting located in Wrangell, Alaska. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced imaging professional ready to oversee a multidisciplinary radiology department and support high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the imaging department, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and mammography
Supervise and support radiologic technologists and imaging support staff
Ensure equipment is maintained, inspected, and compliant with regulatory standards
Oversee PACS operations and staff training
Maintain radiology policies, procedures, and quality control programs
Monitor and manage radiation safety and protective equipment
Collaborate with leadership teams to improve performance and service delivery
Assist with budgeting, equipment planning, and revenue optimization
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as needed, within scope of certification
