Inspired Dance Academy is a mobile studio looking for dance instructors to teach children creative movement, gymnastics & dance in a fun, upbeat and creative way. Instructor should be an organized individual who feels confident instructing classes, conversing and building a rapport with school directors, administrators, parents, and students!

A successful instructor is:

• Prepared for every class with a clear plan of what to teach (lesson plans provided)
• Communicates very well
• Availability weekdays (mornings, afternoons)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Wants to have fun while at work

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Attend every class, fully prepared, dressed appropriately, & with teaching materials and props.
• Effectively teaches students the lesson plan and has fun doing it!
• Develop a positive rapport with every contact at the dance class location
• Communicate all pertinent information with the IDA director
• This position includes traveling to locations: Driver license and personal car preferred

Schedule and Hourly Rate:

• This position is part-time, you are expected to work approximately 1-5 hours a week with room to grow.
• Currently looking for candidates who can teach in Chicago and Morton Grove at all or at least one of the listed locations.
• Hourly Rate: $30-$50 per hour depending on education level.

Locations looking for a teacher:

• Tuesday: 3-4pm Chicago(Old Town)
• Thursday: 10-11am Chicago(Palmer Square)
• Thursday: 3:30-4:30pm Chicago (River North)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred but not required)
• Dance: 1+ years
• Gymnastics: 1 year (preferred but not required)
