THE TRIAL, A HIDDEN BLESSING

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and he saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalms 34:18).
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28).
“You trusted in your wickedness, You said: No one sees me! Your wisdom and your knowledge have seduced you. And you said in your heart: Me, and only me!” (Isaiah 47:10).

God uses problems to bring us closer to Him. That is why it is written: “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit.” (Psalms 34:18).
The word of God invites us to know that even with broken hearts, God uses us to bring us closer to Him. We are never closer to the Lord than when we pass through the valley of the shadow of death, when our dreams fade away, when our tears flow in the secrecy of our rooms, etc.
It is in these places of sadness or anger that our souls are most receptive to the presence of God. Therefore, trial is a hidden blessing.
It is in difficult times, when there is no solution, when we feel completely abandoned, discouraged, or when we are at the bottom of the valley, that we are ready to listen to God.

When things go wrong, then our prayers become more sincere and genuine. We go into the depths with God. God also uses this time of trial to make us more sensitive to His presence and His will. It is in suffering that we truly experience Jesus. It is in trial that God expects us to exalt His goodness.
In suffering, God gives us to learn things that we would not learn otherwise. God could have protected Daniel from the lion’s den, Jeremiah from the cistern, He could have freed Joseph from prison, etc.
However, Joseph grew closer to God while in prison, as did Daniel in the lion’s den and his friends in the fiery furnace. And we today, do we draw closer to God during our times of trial?
God wants us to personally experience His greatness and His faithfulness, in a concrete way. This reveals to us, in a unique way, the nature of God the Father. Can we manage to make the presence of God flow within us during the trial?
There are hidden blessings in the trial. Persevere and God will show us hidden blessings. He knows our situations before we even open our mouths. Let’s not get discouraged.
It is written, “Delight in the Lord, and he will give you what your heart desires.” (Psalms 37:4).
We are children of Israel and we must enjoy the land flowing with milk and honey. So let’s not give up, because that’s what the devil wants. He wants us to believe that our God does not see us.

-Let us pray to the Lord, so that He will strengthen us and give us not to give up, not to despair, to go to the end, in the name of Jesus Christ.
– Let us pray to the Lord, so that every spirit of dejection, of depression let go and that we resume a new life with God, in the name of Jesus Christ.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with all! (Revelation 20:21).
